Talaash (2012) - Slick Thriller

If suspense is what rocks your boat, Talaash is going to be a treat for you. Perfectly paced with some brilliant cinematography and slick dialoguery, Talaash is a thoroughly satiating experience. Running so many themes parallely and weaving them all neatly at the end, Reema Kagti and Zoya's treatment to the plot is praiseworthy. Music is like another character in the film, adding to the eeriness of it.

Aamir comes on screen after a long time, playing the tough, restrained-yet-vulnerable police officer smack dab. Kareena and Rani pull off their bits with equal conviction. Special mention to Nawazzudin Siddique. A lot of people have come to recognize him after Kahaani or as the Faisal Khan of Gangs of Wasseypur but his tete-a-tete with Bollywood began in 1999, co-incidently with Amir-starrer Sarfarosh. His expressions are enough to make you want to sit back and watch out. Raj Kumar Yadav (of LSD and Ragini MMS fame) makes his presence felt despite the tiny role.

Overall, don't miss it. Enjoy this one on the big screen!
